eLearningPoint 2019 è la prima conferenza online sullo stato dell’eLearning in Italia organizzata da Nicolò Piave. Il Prof. Karl Kapp e la dott.ssa Robyn Defelice ci hanno illustrato in dettagli i vantaggi e le opportunità insite nell’approccio microlearning alla formazione online, soffermandosi sulle varie applicazioni concrete in vari settori.

How does microlearning lead to increased performance and knowledge? How can small pieced of information be valuable to the overall employee performance and learning. IN this session, we’ll de-fine microlearning and it’s permutations and describe how small, focused microlearning pieces can be used as part of a training strategy by matching the right type of microlearning to the right learning need.

• Learn to apply the right type of microlearning to right learning needs of the organization.
• Discover how to properly design and develop microlearning so it’s short and to the point but engaging enough to keep the learner’s attention.
• Discover how microlearning fits into a larger learning strategy within an organization.

Prof. Karl Kapp, PhD – Breve nota sullo speaker

Dr. Karl Kapp has a worldwide reputation as one of the pio-neers in the gamification of learning and instruction having literally written the book on the topic.

Now he has turned his attention to Microlearning and teaching people how to apply the right methods to the design, development and deployment of microlearning. Karl is recognized as an expert in the conver-gence of learning, technology and business and was named one of LinkedIn’sTop Voices in Education in 2017, received the Guild Master Award in 2018 and in 2019 received the coveted ATD Individual Contributor Award.

He has been a Co-Principle Investigator on two National Science Foundation grants and his currently working on an NIH grant. He has written eight books including his latest “Microlearning: Short and Sweet” and is frequently an international keynote speaker.
